TMZ.com reports “As of this moment, a decision has not been made as to whether or not a fourth season of “Laguna Beach” will be ordered.”
They are suppose to begin filming within a few weeks….which has annoy many Laguna Beach parents & locals.
Well, there is alot of buzz about the final episode of the 3rd season. MTV made it interactive…and we will see if that was a success.
here is what the blog world has to say….
TVCocktail.com - “Sigh. It was graduation day in Laguna as the Seniors prepared for their big day, and the Juniors complained that they were being left behind. Derek, Kelan, Chase and Nick moved their tassels to the other side, as Kyndra, Cami and Cameron looked on. The girls cried while the boys celebrated. You know, a typical graduation.”
RealityTVCalendar.com - “Laguna Beach: Absent Parents And Mansions Full Of Drama - Let’s raise our red cups and toast to absent parents and mansions full of drama. It’s the season finale, folks, and it doesn’t get any better than this… well unless “Temptation Island” came back on the air, that would be the best ever! Anyway, here we go… ”
TVBlend.com - “The masterful editors of Laguna Beach just proved that you can really just wow people in the end to make up for an inferior beginning and middle (and the couple of weeks before the end). This season had incredible past finales to live up to and, thanks to the ingeniousness of these editors, this finale invoked the intricate angst of pre-summer high school endings, while staying true to the show’s gloriously vapid roots. The stakes were at their highest, reminding us why the delectable melodrama that is ‘Laguna Beach’ is so incredibly riveting. Tessa made a whiny narrator undeserving of a role previously held by LC and Kristin and Kyndra made a villainess that tried way too hard at being mean, but somehow this one epic hour of LB journeying made watching the rest of the otherwise drab season worth it.”
Residents of Laguna Beach, Calif., have accused the MTV series named after the sunny locale of focusing on the city`s negative points.
Local political candidates and parents have become more and more outspoken against the MTV reality series, accusing ‘Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County’ of increasing crime and substance abuse in the Southern California city, The Los Angeles Times reported.
‘It was a boneheaded move. I would never let my child participate,’ said parent Ketta Brown about MTV`s filming. ‘Hopefully this show will die a natural death.’
The criticism of the TV series follows a recent study that claimed Laguna Beach to be tops in substance abuse in Orange County.
‘When it was so hot this summer and people asked why, I said, `It must be MTV.` That`s how ridiculous it has become,’ Candace Hurley, a mother of two, told the newspaper. ‘People now blame MTV for everything.’
MTV: Music Television today announced the live one-hour season finale of the popular reality drama Laguna Beach airing November 15 at 10:00 PM ET. MTV brings fans closer to their favorite Laguna residents with a live interactive finale. In a first-time, post show special, the cast will move the viewing party online to answer fan questions and introduce an exclusive performance by Laguna Beachs very own local band Open Air Stereo who will perform live and exclusively on lagunabeach.mtv.com. Fans can also get closer to Chase, Kelan and the rest of the band after the performance in an exclusive virtual meet & greet in Virtual Laguna Beach.
For the first time ever, the cast of season three takes the stage together in front of a live audience with host Susie Castillo from MTVs Times Square studio in New York City. Who is Cameron dating now? Will the girls play nice? Having the cast live on stage together for the first time promises some unexpected drama. The cast will take questions from the studio audience and fans at home can call 888-311-4343 with their questions during the show. Fans can continue the viewing party with the cast after the special by logging onto lagunabeach.mtv.com where the cast will answer questions and reveal the dirt they couldnt show on TV.
On the November 15 finale episode, the seniors wave goodbye to their high school days as they face their graduation. With new beginnings on the horizon, emotions are running high in Laguna Beach. Camerons loneliness leads him into Jessicas arms while Breanna and Rocky once again mend their friendship, much to Tessas distress. The cast prepares to part ways with tearful goodbyes as Kelan heads to college and Chase heads for LA to record an album with Kelan and the rest of the band.
Brody Jenner likes to keep his women coming and going just like ping-pong balls. And why these girls continue to fall for him is beyond us.
It was recently revealed that Brody Phony has moved on from his relationship with Lauren “LC” Conrad and quickly called out “Next!” before the blonde barely even had a chance to infuriate her MTV “Laguna Beach” rival.
The womanizing playa - who started dating Nicole Richie shortly after he ended his relationship with Kristin Cavallari earlier this year - has apparently gotten bored of LC as well and gone back to his “pimping ways.”
The 23-year-old recently confirmed with People magazine that LC is no longer in the picture and, before the year is over, he’ll probably have dated almost every young starlet in Tinseltown.
He told People, “We’re not together anymore.”
The pair dated for less than a month.

From AZCentral.com - “Laguna Beach,” is just past the halfway point of the season. Its producers are making decisions about how to proceed with the fourth season, which begins shooting in December. Viewership, while still strong, has declined, which the show’s creator said is to be expected. “It’s sort of like if you recast (Beverly Hills) 90210,’ ” said Liz Gateley, who is also the executive producer. Viewers, she said, have to make “a whole new investment” in the cast. This is where the delicate chemistry of a reality show can get thrown out of whack.
Gateley, who said she is happy with this season’s cast and considers Tessa a sympathetic character to whom young viewers can relate, seemed a bit surprised by Cami’s objection to her portrayal on the show. “I think we portray characters the way that they are. I wouldn’t call them mean girls, but I would say mean things come out of their mouths. Mean things come out of everyone’s mouth. With Kyndra and Cami, you get a double whammy.”
The current cast will be followed into Season 4, said Gateley, probably with some additions.
Cami is looking forward to next season for her own reasons. “I want to be on the fourth season just to clean things up,” she said. “Not that I wouldn’t be myself, but I would go out of my way to . . . I don’t know. It just really, really, really sucks. Tessa seems like this goody two-shoes on TV, and I am just sitting there watching it, going, If you only knew.’ “
Once again…the blog world weighs in on Laguna Beach….
TV Cocktail - “Spring Break is back and better than ever! Our Laguna-ites prepared for their Spring Break trips and we find out early that Tyler is also going to Cabo (um, he’s like an old man stalker) and that Tessa and Rocky are NOT going. The girls are headed to Virginia to spend some quality time with Tessa’s family. How sweet. See, these are the nice girls. Though I’m nice and I wouldn’t give up a trip to Cabo. Anyway, I digress. Tessa hopes that absence will make Derek’s heart grow fonder and that he’ll want her back when he returns from Mexico. I don’t see it going that way, Tess, as Breanna sets her sights on Derek.”
TV Blend - “It’s probably not the Cabo locale itself that drives the LBers into super random hook-ups and other not-so-random, waiting-to-happen hook-ups, but the ubiquitous availability of inhibition-less alcohol. The usage of the word “slut” certainly hits its peak each season at the Cabo episode, dating back to the classic Stephen-Kristin fight that momentarily drove Stephen to LC (and this season was, thankfully, no exception). This season may have created the new precedent of spontaneous appearances of LB parents in Cabo. ”

So what do you think about Laguna Beach and where the cast is headed….
here’s what the blogger’s had to say about episode 11:
TVcocktail.com: “So, Chase’s band is playing some big concert this week and Laguna is all a buzz with anticipation.
Alex and Stephen ask Lexie and Rachel to go to the concert with them and, although the girls are skeptical about Alex, they agree to go. Derek acts all cool with Cameron and Nick and says that he doesn’t have real feelings for Tessa. Tess and Raquel gab over Derek’s lameness when Chase shows up to make it all better. He defends the male species with some ridiculous rant about how sometimes guys just need their space and there’s really nothing to worry about until a guy ignores you for three days. What? No self-respecting chick waits to be ignored.”
Celebrity Cafe - “After last week’s bonfire, Raquel is left heartbroken over Alex. Although she says she still has feelings for Alex, this does not stop her from accepting an invitation for a date from Nick. Meanwhile, Tessa vents to Rocky about her confusion over her relationship with Derek. Tessa feels like Derek is ignoring her and she is unsure about what she should do. ”
