Lauren Conrad dropped by Monday’s edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about her reality TV hit The Hills, which returns March 24.

LC discussed moving into the new house she bought in L.A., with her BFFs Audrina Patridge and Lauren Bosworth joining her as roommates:

“[MTV] filmed us moving in. There were three girls. We had a lot of stuff. It was raining the whole weekend. We had like 15 crew members with cameras.  It was madness… We thought the house was haunted. It was built in 1922 – it was an old house. We felt it was kinda creepy. We were probably freaking ourselves out but we were convinced it was haunted. We saged it [to remove the creepiness].” (more…)

Lauren Conrad, one of the stars of the MTV reality show “The Hills”, has announced that her fashion clothing line, the Lauren Conrad Collection, is now available in stores.  She showcases her own stylings Tuesday during L.A.’s Fashion Week.

Among the striking dresses, the Whitney, a homage to Conrad’s “Hills” friend Whitney Port, is a dainty straps and A-line skirt shape, perfect for summer, while the Audrina is a seductive dress cut short above the knee, yet another homage to Conrad’s roomie Audrina Patridge, also a “Hills” star.

It is reported that Teen Vogue has let the two interns go.

In a recent interview with US Magazine, Editor In Chief Amy Astley says “An internship is a short thing, and I just felt it was time for them to move on a little bit.”

BuddyTv.com is questioning whether MTV will return with a new season of Newport Harbor.

Though it hasn’t been confirmed, several sources are strongly suggesting that there’s another season of Newport Harbor is being strongly considered and is expected to air some time in August.

It was the most watched program in its time period among viewers ages 12-34 across all of cable, with over 37 million total viewers during the entire 8-episode run.

NYTimes.com did a review of MTV’s hit show…..“Life of Ryan” is a reality television milestone for one good reason: after years of commoners’ showboating, here comes a showboat who wants to be common. BuddyTV.com reports Ryan Sheckler, star of the reality show, Life of Ryan, has been named among the nominees for this year’s Laureus World Sports Awards. The short list of candidates was announced Thursday, January 24, in London, following a balloting process of selection done by media men and women from all around the world.

The focus of MTV’s Life of Ryan, Sheckler is in the running for the title of World Action Sportsperson of the year. (more…)

“It seems like only yesterday that we were watching Ryan Sheckler and his friends hanging out on the beach in San Clemente, watching the sun set and thinking about the future… Well, the future is here with “Life of Ryan” season two, which premiered Tuesday (January at 10 p.m. Yes, it was hard missing “The Hills,” which was its lead-in back in season one when it aired on Mondays, but if I keep the TV on after it’s over I get to see “Rob & Big.” So that’s a good trade-off, right?”

NY Daily News gave us their insight into the finale of Newport Harbor ….”NEWPORT HARBOR” (MTV) The season finale already? But we were just settling back in with the Newport gang. Sigh. At least they went out with a bang. Or so I was hoping. When Chrissy told Clay she had a “surprise” for him, I was thinking she was finally going to give “it” up to Clay (remember, last season Chrissy told him she was a virgin and he was totally cool with it). But maybe they’ve, like, already done it? Because she just gave him a USC sweatshirt ’cause she’s transferring schools to be closer to home - and to him, so they can work on their relationship (lame). Oh, she also strung Christmas lights on his boat (lamer).

NOW THAT’S GOOD TV: There’s nothing more exciting than watching a non-conversation. When Chrissy pulled Clay aside at Allie’s party to talk, it went like this: “I, uh, so, I mean … whatever. I don’t, uh, I mean, what?”
