Teen skateboarder Ryan Sheckler returns to the small screen for another season of his hit MTV reality series, Life of Ryan. Beginning Tuesday, January 8, viewers will see how Sheckler deals with being a full-time skater and fulfilling his responsibilities at home.

The premiere episode of Life of Ryan’s second season can be downloaded for free on Wednesday, January 2. Subsequent episodes can then be purchased via iTunes, Amazon Unbox and Bit Torrent. Viewers can opt to either buy single episodes or a season pass, and those who purchase early will be given a discount. Aired episodes will also be available for viewing on MTV Demand.

Mischa Barton has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of marijuana and a controlled substance and driving without a valid license, TMZ.com confirms

According to a press release issued by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, the former “O.C.” star was pulled over early this morning around 2:45 AM as she was driving in West Hollywood, Calif. Cops say she “was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn.” When deputies pulled her over, they determined that she “was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.”

Barton is still in custody, being held on $10,000 bail. The L.A. County Sheriffs’ Inmate Information website called her “Mischa Burton.” Sources tell us that Mischa has been “very cooperative” and “no trouble at all.” She’s a good bad girl!

Numerous websites are reporting that reality star-turned-actress Kristin Cavallari is considering joining the cast of MTV’s hit series, The Hills, in which her former Laguna Beach rival Lauren Conrad currently stars.

Several inside sources told E! Online’s Kristin Veich that Hills producers are entertaining the possibility of reuniting Cavallari with Lauren Conrad on the show. The same insiders reported that Conrad is not exactly thrilled with the idea of having Cavallari on the show, most likely due to the fact that the two of them were involved in a love triangle with Stephen Colletti during their Laguna Beach days.

Buddy TV reports “According to Skelligs Productions (Deserted, Chance Meeting), the company behind Tinslestars, the film is about “two Hollywood executive posers” who try to pick up girls in Los Angeles using any means possible. Aside from Stephen Colletti, who appears in the movie as Lou Masters, Tinslestars also features up-and-coming actor J.R. Ramirez as Brandon.

A prison stint was apparently all Jason Wahler needed to help him prioritize his life.

“Jail was a very humbling experience,” the 20-year-old former Laguna Beach star told People in a Friday report. “It gave me time to reflect and really think about my mistakes.”

One of those mistakes — an April arrest on charges of assault and underage drinking — landed Wahler a 30-day Seattle prison sentence last month when he plead guilty to charges of assault and a minor exhibiting signs of intoxication. However Wahler only served 18 days of the prison term and was released last Tuesday. At the time of his sentencing, it was reported he could be released early for good behavior.

After months out of the limelight, former “Laguna Beach” star Kristin Cavallari (’memba her?!) resurfaced in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. Robertson Blvd. hasn’t been the same without her!

Lauren Conrad’s pre-Heidi Montag nemesis was snapped heading to her dirty BMW, when a photog stumped Kristin by asking what her favorite Christmas carol was. How about the one that goes, “On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me … a car wash!”

In her defense, if your borefriend was hunkalicious Nick Zano — you’d stay home and forget to wash your things too!

From “Laguna Beach” surfer to undersea superhero? It might be a short walk distance wise, but for former MTV reality show star Talan Torriero it feels like a nearly insurmountable chasm. Still, he’s not giving up.

Talan recently discuss his latest movie “Driftwood,” a horror film about a camp for wayward youths, and wound up dishing dirt on his former co-stars, his love of musical theater, his intense and “crazy” acting method, and why his dream role involves talking to fish.
