Now we are hearing more and more rumors that MTV has pulled the plug on Season 4 of “Laguna Beach” and start filming in nearby town of Newport Beach.

Brenna Conrad has confirm she will not be in Season 4. In a blog post on her myspace page, Brenna told her fans she is shutting down her profile.

Hey Everyone…..I have been super busy lately and I’m finding it hard to keep up with my myspace. I’m sorry to anyone I haven’t answered back to yet. I will be closing this myspace next week and wanted to let you all know. I will not be doing another season of Laguna Beach, so it seems weird to keep this myspace open. NY Post reports - KRISTIN Cavallari has come up with a new way to make some money. Like Paris Hilton, she’s charging club owners for personal appearances that might produce publicity for their venues in celebrity-obsessed weekly magazines. She was clever enough to spark a bidding war between Tao Las Vegas and Pure Las Vegas for the rights to hold her 21st birthday event - and bids are already up to $100,000. Cavallari has also mastered a method originated by Jessica Simpson and her father, Joe. She has a friend who fronts as a “personal photographer” and gets the “big photos” of her making out with pal Nick Zano. She then sells the images to the tabs, who give her a percentage. The practice “infuriates event organizers who pay her to attend their events because they only get C-rate photos for their use,” a spy said. Cavallari’s rep said, “We have some nice offers from different venues to hold Kristin’s birthday party, and she has not yet chosen one . . . In this time of stalkerazzi who invade her privacy, Kristin, like many other celebs, has found a way to try to counter and control these uncomfortable situations and work with photographers they know and trust.”

TMZ.com reports a porn company has put the brakes on an alleged sex tape featuring “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad and “Laguna Beach’s” Jason Wahler — because of the bad boy’s “severely disappointing” behavior. And apparently, according to our source, the tape is severely disappointing as well.

The alleged tape, news of which first broke on Perez Hilton, is “very vanilla” with “no hard core sex.” The source adds that LC and Jason are basically “messing around.” But SugarDVD tells TMZ they are retracting their previous offer of $500,000 for the tape, because of Wahler’s recent arrest in Seattle. “We refuse to support any person who feels that it is in any way acceptable to rattle off racial slurs and slanderous language about African-American people, homosexual people and the police department.”

Not only is Sugar pulling the offer, but they are reaching out to their network to discourage anyone from participating in a deal for this alleged tape.

According to TMZ.com “Heidi Montag, “Hills” star and Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad’s former BFF, says she had “nothing to do” with leaking the purported sex tape, which may or may not exist, supposedly starring LC and her troubled ex Jason Wahler.”

In the new issue of Us Weekly, Montag also says that the reason she never called LC after news broke of the sex tape, which may or may not exist, was because Heidi was in the hospital recovering from her nose and boob jobs! Priorities, people! When asked if the sex tape, which may or may not exist, does in fact exist, Montag said, “No comment.”

As far as her relationship with boyfriend/”Hills” resident slimeball Spencer Pratt is concerned, Heidi says, “It’s perfect. We have so much fun. I never knew I could love someone like this.” While Pratt chimes in saying, “I have never been so madly in love as I am with Heidi. She has the world’s greatest boyfriend.”

In a recent LA Time’s article about MTV’s new direction about being youthful and hip again, they asked about Laguna Beach’s next season situation.

The channel is so committed to the new strategy that even the future of the once-groundbreaking franchise “Laguna Beach” is in question. Gary Auerbach, executive producer of the teen docu-soap, said it was difficult to tell whether the show, MTV’s biggest launch since “Newlyweds,” would return. Whatever happens, the series will live online as the game Virtual Laguna Beach on vMTV.com, the network’s home for virtual gaming.

The same article talks about new shows coming to the channel, and one’s that flop this past year, including Maui Fever.

It also states that last week’s finale of The Hills did a great job of showcasing MTV’s new feel.

The after-show following last month’s finale of “The Hills” was a mishmash of media, combining a live studio audience, online instant messaging and a Q&A between the series’ cast and home viewers conducted via webcam.

The complete Season 4 of The OC has been released to Pre-Order at Amazon.com. Now with The O.C. over, Adam can continue on play basically “himself” in a number of new movies coming out. The first one is “In The Land of Women” that just open this week.

Buzzsugar.com says “I’m curious about In the Land of Women, the first feature from writer and director Jon Kasdan, whose brother Jake also has a new movie, The TV Set. On paper, the premise sounds a bit Garden State: After getting dumped by a movie star, Carter Webb (Brody) decides to move to Michigan care for his grandma (Olympia Dukakis). As he straddles that vexing line between mature adult and immature 20-something, he’s charmed by two women across the street, including a sassy mom (Meg Ryan) and her teenage daughter, Lucy (relative newcomer Kristen Stewart). The movie looks to have some potential, but it’s tough to tell from the trailer. “

Alexandra Patsavas is known for getting songs by little-known indie acts — including Death Cab For Cutie and Imogen Heap — onto very well known TV shows like “The OC” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Now, the music supervisor behind so many influential TV soundtracks is forming her own record label.

Patsavas just signed a deal with Atlantic Records to launch a new imprint called Chop Shop Records, sharing a name with her music-supervision business. The Pasadena-based label hasn’t signed any artists yet, but Patsavas is most likely to scout the same types of indie-rock acts she’s been breaking on TV.

The O.C. started airing episodes on SoapNet this past Monday at 6pm.
